Hiring a Green Gardener today can help you save money, conserve water and
sustain your healthy landscape. The Qualified Green Gardeners listed below
have completed a minimum of 20 hours of hands-on instruction, passed a written
exam, and have valid business licenses
and/or are an employee or
owner of a company with a valid contractor’s license from the
California
Contractors State Licensing Board.
- CLCA
Certified Water Managers must pass a written test, complete an irrigation
audit, and demonstrate proficiency in keeping at least one landscape site
on an annual water budget.
- Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors are certified through the national
Irrigation Association
and must pass a written exam, submit a completed irrigation audit,
and complete 20 hours of continuing education every two years.
- Certified Arborist are certified through the International
Society of Arboriculture and have met all requirements to be eligible
for the exam, which includes three or more years of full-time, eligible,
practical work experience in arboriculture and/or a degree in the field
of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from
a regionally accredited educational institute.
- Qualified Water
Efficient Landscaper is a WaterSense labeled Irrigation Auditor certification
program.
